What Radar Modes can be done with the FMCW

The FMCW is a fully operational close range radar. We started off as a pure FMCW. But over the time more and more modes where added. Today we can operate the radar in the modes

• FMCW
• Doppler
• Frequency Shift Keying (FSK)

In that list we also often put MTI, although technically seen it is not really a mode but a feature. You can read more on the FMCW here.

FMCW is also the radar on in the Synthetic Aperture Radar application. For that, FMCW is simply placed on the SAR extension.
