SkyRadar's NextGen 8 GHz Pulse radar is the modular ATC-training, education and research oriented close range radar which is able to cover the complete range from introduction into radar and pulse technology to most complex experiments on artificial intelligence. 

It can be extended to various configurations like FMCW radar, a 24 GHz Noise Radar, sonar, etc.

DESCRIPTION

The NextGen Pulse Radar is a true close range pulse radar with a range resolution better than 10 cm, a range up to 25 m and a pulse width of 0.5 nanno-seconds.

The modular and expandable system operates with SkyRadar’s pedagogical FreeScopes Digital Signal Processing Environment, which provides many scopes (A-Scopes, B-Scopes, PPI), control interfaces and filters. The radar allows for highest flexibility in the learning process, with a very low peak pulse output power (-0.7 to 6.3 dBm). 

This system has been developed for training and research in civil aviation, universities and industry.
