Spectrogram in FreeScopes - What is it Good for in Radar Technology? (Video)

Written by Arnold Bistri | Jan 13, 2022

The Spectrogram looks at the received power from the targets. It represents the first one-dimensional Fourier transform and is given in a logarithmic scale. The received power spectrum allows to detect moving targets.

The video explains how to interpret the spectrogram and how to use it in radar technology.

The spectrogram is part of FreeScopes Basic II a package of filters and algorithms to analyze radar signals. It can be applied in conjuntion with SkyRadar's various radar training modules like the NextGen 8 GHz Pulse Radar, the PSR (24 GHz Noise Radar), or the FMCW.
