Air Combat Cloud and NGWS within FCAS: Members of Cyberskies have demonstrated their expertise in the Air Combat Cloud pillar of the Next-Generation Weapon System (NGWS) within the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) program. They have coordinated internal efforts and engaged in external negotiations, addressing data link networks architecture, cyber protection, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence-enabled services.

  5. NATO Research Task Group and AICA IWG: Members of Cyberskiles have made significant contributions as co-leads of NATO's IST-152 Research Task Group. They have been instrumental in shaping the concept of future Autonomous Intelligent Cyber-Defence Agents (AICA). Additionally, they founded and served as the first Chairman of the Autonomous Intelligent Cyber-Defence Agents International Work Group (AICA IWG), collaborating with NATO's NCI Agency and ACT to advance cyber defense capabilities.

  6. Strategic Studies on Critical Infrastructures' Resilience: Members of Cyberskiles have directed important strategic studies on the resilience of critical infrastructures. Cyber Threats in European Air Traffic Management and Cross-Aviation Risks: The members of Cyberskiles have conducted studies on cyber threats in relation to the future SWIM-based European Air Traffic Management System. They have also contributed to studies on cross-aviation cyber risks, working closely with European aviation agencies to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.

  8. Telecommunications' Emergency Preparedness and Resilience: The members of Cyberskiles have delivered studies on emergency preparedness and resilience in the field of European telecommunications. Their expertise has been instrumental in assessing and enhancing the robustness and responsiveness of telecommunications networks in critical scenarios.

  9. Crisis Management Drills and Cyber Crisis Exercises: Members of Cyberskiles have initiated and organized crisis management drills, including large-scale cyber crisis exercises involving numerous participants. These exercises provide realistic simulations of cyber incidents, enabling organizations to test their incident response capabilities and enhance their overall cyber resilience.

Research and Publications: The members of Cyberskies have a strong track record of research contributions, including journal papers, books, and book chapters covering topics such as software engineering, critical infrastructure resilience, and Autonomous Intelligent Cyber-Defence Agents.
